xemu is a continuation of xqemu which is a low-level Xbox / Chihiro Emulator started in mid-late 2012 by espes[1].

xemu was started in early 2020 by mborgerson[2]

Currently the features that are supported are Gamepad Support, System Link, Snapshots (Save States).
